What happens before and during a ride.
Before arrival
The request establishes riding experience, confidence, weight, expectations, party details, and the correct riding pathway. Questions are resolved before a place is confirmed.
At the yard
The team reviews the horse, the rider match, tack, briefing, heat, weather, and ground before anyone mounts.
In the field
Guides set and adjust spacing, pace, route, stops, and duration. Instructions remain binding for every rider.

Water, heat, footing, light, and horse condition are part of the decision, not a backdrop.
A route can change after the horses are tacked.
The guide holds final authority over route, pace, horse allocation, and whether a session runs at all. That authority is exercised in front of guests, not behind them.
