What This Is
Select Horse Sales & Placement is Vonfidel Ranch’s private programme for the selection, preparation, sale, and placement of a small number of carefully chosen horses into appropriate long-term homes, estates, and working environments.
Horses are not offered as open inventory or marketed through public listings. Each placement is the outcome of a consultative process that considers the horse, the rider or operator, and the intended environment as a single system.
What Makes These Horses Different
Horses offered through this programme are selected young and developed over time within Vonfidel Ranch’s working equestrian environment. They are prepared to be calm, human-oriented, physically resilient, and psychologically settled — suitable for private ownership, professional estates, riding operations, and long-term partnership with people.
The emphasis is not on pedigree, fashion, discipline, or competition category, but on soundness, temperament, trainability, adaptability, and suitability for the role they are ultimately expected to fulfil.
Placement, Not Transactions
We do not operate as a dealer, auction platform, or trading stable. Our role is to match the right horse to the right environment and ensure that placement is appropriate, responsible, and sustainable for both horse and owner.
Where appropriate, Vonfidel Ranch can assist with transport coordination, orientation, operational consultation, and practical guidance relating to stable design, handling systems, daily management, and long-term welfare.
Ongoing Stewardship
Post-placement, we may remain involved in an advisory capacity, including welfare oversight, farrier coordination, training guidance, and operational support intended to help preserve the horse’s soundness, comfort, and long-term wellbeing.
This involvement is offered selectively and only where it provides meaningful value to both the horse and the environment into which it has been placed.
This programme is intentionally limited in volume and is not structured around frequent or commercial sales. Enquiries are reviewed individually and placements are undertaken only where suitability, welfare, and long-term alignment can be established.
