Vonfidel Ranch

Select Horse Sales & Placement

Curated horses, carefully prepared and placed through a considered, professional process.

What this is

Select Horse Sales & Placement is Vonfidel Ranch’s private programme for the selection, preparation, sale, and placement of a small number of carefully chosen horses into appropriate long-term homes and working environments.

Horses are not sold as open inventory or through listings. Each placement is the outcome of a consultative process that considers the horse, the rider or operator, and the intended environment as a single system.

What makes these horses different

Horses offered through this programme are selected young and prepared over time within Vonfidel Ranch’s working environment. They are developed to be calm, human-oriented, physically resilient, and psychologically settled — suitable for private ownership, professional estates, and operational riding contexts.

The emphasis is not on discipline, pedigree, or performance category, but on soundness, temperament, trainability, and suitability for long-term partnership with people.

Placement, not transactions

We do not operate as a dealer or trading stable. Our role is to match the right horse to the right situation and ensure that placement is appropriate, responsible, and sustainable for both parties.

Where appropriate, Vonfidel Ranch can assist with transport coordination, on-site orientation, operational consultation, and practical guidance around stable design, handling practices, and ongoing horse management.

Ongoing stewardship

Post-placement, we may remain involved in an advisory capacity, including welfare oversight, farrier coordination, and operational guidance to support the horse’s soundness, comfort, and long-term wellbeing within its new environment.

This is offered selectively and where it adds meaningful value to the horse and the operation.

This programme is intentionally limited in volume and is not designed for frequent or commercial sales. Enquiries are considered individually.
