Welcome to Vonfidel Ranch. These Terms of Service set out the standards, expectations and commitments that govern bookings, conduct, safety and data protection when using our services. Please review carefully.

1. Introduction

These Terms govern your access to and use of Vonfidel Ranch services, including our website, bookings, accommodations, horseback programs and related activities. By using our services you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Booking & Reservation Policy

  • Reservations: All bookings must be made in advance via our site or team. Walk-ins are not accepted.
  • Payment: A 50% deposit confirms booking; balance due on check-in.
  • Cancellations & refunds: Cancellations ≥14 days before arrival are refundable; within 14 days may not be refundable.
  • Changes: To modify bookings contact us at least 48 hours before arrival.

3. Liability & Waiver

  • Risk of horseback riding: Activities involve inherent risks. By participating you accept those risks.
  • Release of liability: Guests agree to indemnify and hold Vonfidel Ranch and staff harmless from liabilities arising from participation.
  • Personal responsibility: Guests are responsible for their health and must use safety equipment when provided.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Respectful behaviour: Treat staff, horses and other guests with courtesy. Abuse or unsafe behaviour may result in termination of services without refund.
  • Compliance: Follow the guidance of instructors and leaders at all times.
  • Horse care: Follow staff instructions regarding handling and feeding.
  • Age & health requirements: Certain activities may have restrictions; consult our team if unsure.

5. Media Consent

We may photograph or film activities for promotional and training purposes. Notify us in writing if you prefer not to be featured.

6. Health & Safety

  • Health disclosure: Inform us of medical conditions that may affect participation.
  • First aid: Staff are trained in basic emergency care; guests remain responsible for their wellbeing.
  • Alcohol & drugs: Use during activities is strictly prohibited.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Vonfidel Ranch site — text, images, logos — is our intellectual property. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Changes to Terms

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Sri Lankan law. Disputes will be resolved under Sri Lankan jurisdiction, with arbitration as the preferred method.
