A respectful partnership begins long before you meet the horse. Riding here is not performance or spectacle. It is a shared responsibility between rider, horse, trail, and land.

Riding with us is not only a question of where you can go. It is a question of whether the horse, the rider, the terrain, and the day can meet responsibly.

Can beginners ride?
Beginners and novice riders are considered through the Horsemanship Training Holiday pathway, subject to individual review. Signature Riding Holidays require intermediate ability or above and independent control at walk, trot, and canter in open country. Intermediate and advanced riders may also choose Horsemanship Training when structured development is their goal.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes. The maximum is 75 kg current body weight per rider, without helmet, boots, or other riding equipment. Exact rider weights are required before confirmation, and acceptance still depends on horse availability, rider suitability, heat, terrain, and operating conditions.
Can children ride?
Signature Riding Holidays and Trail Rides are adults only, with a minimum riding age of 18. The Horsemanship Training Holiday accepts riders from age 12 and is the pathway for younger riders and for families. Riders aged 12 to 17 on that pathway must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who does not have to ride and may stay as a declared non-riding guest. Non-riding children under 12 may stay on residential holidays when declared in advance. Participation is at the Ranch’s discretion and begins with the appropriate request and the dialogue that follows; it is not automatically confirmed. For residential holidays, non-riding children younger than 12 may stay at the Ranch with their family, provided they are declared in the Riding Holiday Request.
What is the riding pace?
Controlled and welfare-first. Pace is set by the wrangler according to the horse, rider, terrain, weather, and field conditions.

Each pathway is limited and reviewed before confirmation. Residential programs are private; Trail Ride party composition remains at the Ranch's discretion. The distinctions below help you decide where to begin without treating access as automatic.
Signature Riding Holiday
- Format
- Residential, private riding program.
- Accommodation and riding areas
- Guests stay at the Ranch throughout the current Signature Riding Holiday. Horses are positioned at field camps serving the selected riding areas and remain at a camp for several days rather than being moved each day. They may later be repositioned to another field camp when the route plan changes. Riding days therefore do not all begin at the Ranch, and guests return to the same reserved Ranch accommodation after each riding day. Local riding-day transport between the Ranch and the field camp serving the riding area is arranged by the Ranch and included in the agreed Signature holiday price.
- Included
- Private Ranch-house accommodation exclusive to the party, full board, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, laundry without a separate charge, and the agreed structured riding program. A seven-day Signature Riding Holiday also includes two hosted local evenings. Depending on local conditions and the party's interests, these may involve nearby village life and local street food, or a simple outdoor barbecue with relaxed ground-level seating. Non-riding companions must be declared for the quote.
- Duration
- Minimum three days; seven days is ideal. In a seven-day stay, two days are kept free of riding for horse and rider recovery and remain deliberately unhurried.
- Riding rhythm
- Signature guests may request one or two riding sessions per riding day. Each session is approximately 1.5–3 hours. The requested rhythm is used to prepare the riding scope and written quote; it is not an automatic entitlement. Actual timing, duration, pace, and whether a second session proceeds remain subject to horse welfare and recovery, rider suitability, heat, weather, footing, route, daylight, horse availability, and the Ranch guide’s judgment.
- Pace
- Signature Riding Holidays are private and designed for riders who are comfortable riding independently in open country. Each ride is shaped around the riders, the horses, the route and the day’s conditions, with substantial opportunities for trotting and cantering. The guide sets the pace in the field, balancing an enjoyable ride with sound horsemanship and horse welfare.
- Terrain
- Most Signature riding is across wide-open country on predominantly sandy ground. Routes also pass through jungle corridors and forest patches, along lakesides and waterways, and beside paddy fields, cattle ranches and wildlife habitat.
- Season
- Signature Riding Holidays are normally not offered from mid-October through the third week of January because of the high probability of rain. Outside that period, dates are available only by prior inquiry and remain subject to availability and the normal horse, rider, weather, footing, workload, and recovery review.
- Readiness
- Intermediate or above, with independent control at walk, trot, and canter in open country. Experience, attitude, balance, intended stay, and field conditions are still reviewed individually.
- Matching
- Horse-and-rider matching considers riding history, confidence, balance, current body weight, horse temperament, the intended route, and conditions. An initial horse assignment may be adjusted during the stay when welfare, temperament, suitability, route, or conditions require it.
- Field authority
- The Ranch guide has final authority over route, pace, horse allocation, and whether a session is shortened, changed, postponed, or not ridden.
- Party
- Maximum six riders per private party; the party is not divided into separate riding groups.
Not for: walk-in access, public group departures, or a fixed pace regardless of the horse and conditions.
Trail Ride
- Format
- Non-residential trail access; whether bookings are combined or kept separate remains at the Ranch's discretion.
- Included
- Trail ride access only; no Ranch lodging or residential meal plan.
- Duration
- 2.5 hours.
- Readiness
- Recent riding, confidence in open terrain, rider details, and field conditions are reviewed.
- Party
- Maximum six riders, subject to horse and rider suitability.
Not for: first-time riders or guests seeking an overnight stay.
Horsemanship Training Holiday
- Format
- Private training holiday shaped around an agreed area of work.
- Included
- Private Ranch-house accommodation exclusive to the party, full board, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, laundry, and the agreed structured training program without per-session charges.
- Duration
- Set after goals, background, dates, and rider details are reviewed.
- Readiness
- The designated pathway for beginner and novice riders, and also available to more experienced riders seeking structured development. Current level, goals, handling background, and receptiveness to correction are considered.
- Party
- Private, with a maximum of four riders; capacity is reviewed before confirmation.
Not for: casual entertainment, large-group activity, or riders unwilling to adapt.
Across all pathways, the maximum is 75 kg current body weight per rider. Horse suitability, rider balance, heat, terrain, and the nature of the ride still govern acceptance. Access is never automatic.
For Signature holidays, riding-day field-camp transport is included in the agreed holiday price. Airport pickup and end-to-end chauffeur transport are optional and quoted separately.
